Mike Hess, the founder and executive director of the Blind Institute of Technology, stopped by the studio for some new headshots. The mission of the BIT is “to help professionals with disabilities, and the employers who hire them find success in the workplace.” You can learn more about the BIT here https://blindinstituteoftechnology.org
Due to the incredible success of this organization, Mike was traveling to Vienna to receive an award and needed some new headshots before the big event. We decided to include Mike’s cane in a few of the photos. And we also wanted to showcase his famous Golden Hoodie that says Trailblazer because that’s exactly what he is in his field.
I know some people will say that I should have removed the glare from Mike’s sunglasses. And rest assured, I have versions without the glare. But I also really loved the glare in the glasses two. I feel like the glare has its own vibe and I love it.
And then is just a genuine smile from Mike. Truly, this will go down as one of my favorite headshot sessions of 2025!
Congratulations to Mike on your award and thank you for all you to do create opportunities in our community and around the world. We are lucky to have people like you!
